Our Story

Coffee Shop Candle Company is an Illinois, home based candle business owned and operated by  Tracy Blanchard

After retiring in 2023 from a 44 year career in grocery retail - starting as a bagger and eventually serving as a district manager - Tracy spent a year volunteering and reflecting on what the next chapter of life would hold. While praying about how to earn a little extra income in retirement, candle making was placed on her heart

Around that same time, a friend mentioned how much she loved the smell of fresh brewed coffee and wished she could find a candle that truly captured that scent. 

And that was it! God had already been stirring something in her heart about candle making - and that conversation was the spark - Coffee Shop Candle Company was born.

Today, Tracy handcrafts 100% pure soy wax candles from her home. She focuses on eco-friendly materials, clean burns, and cozy, comforting fragrances - especially that rich, warm coffee shop aroma we all love. 

With decades of retail experience, Tracy is passionate not only about creating exceptional candles, but also about delivering outstanding customer service and a warm, personal experience with every order.
